About Charity Faith

Let's think...I honestly don't remember when I fell in love with hair! My earliest memory is when my best friend (Tashia) and I use to do each other's hair in high school. You couldn't tell us nothing with our popcorn ponytails and swoops gelled to our foreheads!!

I didn't do much hair after that, maybe a few quick weaves and roller sets here and there in college, but not enough to make a fuss about! Even though I never marketed myself as a hairstylist, I knew early on that's what I wanted to be when I grew up. I can remember telling my hairstylist, Deborah Hunter, that I wanted to follow in her footsteps and become a stylist. She inspired me so much. At that time, my goal was only to rent a chair and do hair. She inspired me to think bigger and told me not to just rent a chair, but be the owner.

I attended THEE Jackson State University and obtained a dual degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. After graduating in 2010, I went on to Virginia College and received my certification in Cosmetology. I've had so many office jobs that I've actually lost count. Even though I never had a bad experience with any job I've ever had, I knew a 9 to 5 job sitting down in a closed in office behind the desk all day was not life (or at least not MY life)!

In July of 2017 I was laid off from my Administrative Assistant job due to an administration change. That's when I took the bold move to step out on faith and pursue my dream full time.

My dream is not just to be another hair stylist among the thousands that already exist, but to be THAT stylist that you trust that will help you have the healthiest, most beautiful crown possible. My goal is to teach you all I can about your hair and how to keep it in its healthiest state whether your prefer natural, relaxed, wigs, etc.
